Proofreading for newsrooms
NowMetrix checks the currently leading stories on your website for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and contradictions. Suggestions appear directly in your newsroom’s live dashboard.

Use the possessive “its” here rather than the contraction “it’s”.
The most important issues first
In a live news cycle, not every article is equally urgent. NowMetrix starts with the stories getting the most live traffic – without anyone maintaining a review queue or submitting articles manually.
The stories attracting the most readers right now are prioritized automatically.
The newsroom sees the original wording, a suggestion, the context, and a short explanation.
Suggestions appear where the team already watches live traffic.
More than spelling
NowMetrix does not just look for typos, grammar, and punctuation. Proofreading also flags conflicting names, numbers, dates, locations, and roles within an article.
Flag conflicting names, numbers, dates, locations, or roles when the article itself clearly supports the correction.
Find typos, incorrect spellings, and problematic compound words.
Highlight problems with sentence structure, agreement, cases, commas, and other punctuation.
Give unclear or awkward passages a concrete alternative.
Editorial control
NowMetrix never changes or publishes article text automatically.
No new inbox
When NowMetrix finds new suggestions in a leading story, the responsible newsroom team can be notified in a selected Slack channel. The link opens the affected article and its suggested correction directly.
For custom workflows, suggestions are also available through MCP and the REST API.
